It's not like anybody reminded me, or anything...
Seriously, I've been busy. Writing Harry Potter fanfiction in my spare time. I post over at Mugglenet.com under the name Tabletop_Joe; here's a link to my page. I've got two short stories and a couple chapters of a novel up. It's fun, and creative, and who the fuck cares that I'm never gonna get paid for this? It's a great fictional milieu, and I'm learning more about plotting and keeping a consistent tone than I ever did in my college writing class. I'm even helping edit someone else's novel, which is really cool. Maybe one day I'll come up with my own characters and fictional milieu, but right now this is fun stuff. (I'm trying to work out a plot for "Harry Potter Meets the Clones of Doctor Funkenstein". All suggestions are welcome.)
In other news, St. Louis has been getting some heavy weather recently. The power's out at home, and we're couch-surfing. Everybody's okay, but we're getting a little stressed by the constant moving around. We'll manage, though.
