Here are my five questions to you:
1) If you could live inside a book which book would you choose and why?
"The Lord of the Rings". Yeah, I know it's three books, but Tolkien imagined it as a single continuous narrative. Obviously, I like its mythic quality, and the idea that extraordinary things can be achieved by ordinary people. Plus I'd like to throw down with ol' Samwise in a kitchen.
Either that or else "Microserfs" by Douglas Coupland. Everyone starts in corporate drone hell and ends up wealthy and happy in a startup. I'm pretty happy, but I ain't wealthy.
2) If your life had a soundtrack what song would it be?
Heh. One song? You're funny. Ummm… random pick, here… "Grace", by The Sun Sawed in ˝.
3) If you could punch someone in the face without
suffering any repercusions, who would you punch?
(C'mon you know you want to!)
I'm outing myself here, so deep breath… my piano teacher. Motherfucker molested me repeatedly for almost a year when I was nine. Him I'd like to punch. Repeatedly.
4) If you could have free plastic surgery what part(s) of your body would you have changed? Why?
My gut. No amount of sit-ups, qigong, dieting, or anything seems to be shaving inches off the pony keg I got riding up front. Just once, I'd like to look like a jeans model.
5) What scares you the most?
Losing everything I have due to some colossal fuck-up on my part.
